First time there, great vintage decor, food is unique and good quality. Will definitely go back and recommend to friends.

I moved to St Catharines in February from Toronto and since discovering Diner House 29 I feel like I’m back in the city. I’ve been approx once a month and recommend it to everyone I know. The vibe is good, staff is friendly and the food is some of the best and most innovative brunch cuisine I’ve had. I really appreciate the quality of the ingredients, the unique flavour combinations and changing daily specials. This is truly a gem in St.Catharines. Anyone rating this place less than a 5 star doesn’t have taste buds. Hats off the the chef!

My favourite breakfast place (probably anywhere!). The '29' in the name refers to the number of retro chairs the owner was able to wrestle up over many excursions throughout Ontario over a number of years (they look like the chairs from the 60s or 70s). So the place is small ( no restroom!). But the food....mmmm. I've attached a pic of a recent breakfast featuring pork belly, beautifully poached eggs all on their amazing homemade bread with a side of delicious mini potatoes! So good!

I love this place! This is my go to place for everything whether its for meeting a friend, family, co-worker or even by myself for the simple fact of not wanting to make food but want food anyways! I highly recommend giving this place a try! The staff is very friendly and in my option encouraging. Parking can be a bit tight but its worth it! Thank you Diner House 29 for always welcoming me in with a smile and great food!!!
