Chako Barbecue

Chako is a great place if you're into cooking your food with friends. It's very sociable.

However, because of alleged safety concerns they lowered the flame on their grills, making it slower to cook food (and keep in mind, you have a two hour limit).

Not to mention. If you go here, bring older clothes. You will smell of BBQ when you are done as their ventilation is often unable to keep up.

Staff as well are a bit slow to respond. Sometimes it'll be a good while before you get a refill or be able to do another order of food to cook.

Some restaurants in this style use iPads to quicken response times with staff and the kitchen, this is something that would fix my two biggest quirks with this place, slow response, and easy ordering (as last time I was there staff got some orders wrong).

All in all, it's a good place to stuff yourself with food until you need a wheel chair to leave. Food is seasoned well, not the biggest variety in the menu, but what they have is pretty good. I go here for my birthday every year, here's hoping next year they fix some of these issues.

Had a really great date with my girlfriend here. She found this place online so we decided to check it out and we were not disappointed. The food was great. Everything was marinated nicely the veggies I ordered were fresh and the variety was awesome. Service was also fantastic. They would check up on us often enough that it wasn't overbearing as well as not being too long that we would wait. It was a great time and I will be back with my friends and family in the future.

Chako is such an delicious place to eat! It's great for large groups and small ones. They bring you all sorts of tasty foods to bbq right at your own table. The atmosphere here is wonderful. A very social place to gather and enjoy. The service was prompt and very friendly. The restaurant was clean and very well maintained.

Great selection of food! They are decently priced and definitely worth spending on. The meat and seafood were properly seasoned hence it has lots of flavour once grilled. I also enjoy how they offer sushi as part of all-you-can-eat. Overall, it was a great place to have lunch/dinner with family and friends. Not to mention, the staff were nice and very helpful.
