Happy Lamb Hot Pot, Mississauga 快乐小羊

Went here with a cousin for her birthday. The food was really good and can rather quick!

While the food and the atmosphere were really nice service was lacking. We waited 20 min before we got up and gave our order for the first round. We also had to go up and get a refill of each sauce we wanted to use as no one had refilled the sauce station. Normally these aren’t the biggest deals but considering there was 3 floor staff and 4 tables total it was a little silly that things went unfilled.

It was our first time and we’ll probably come again at some point as the broth and meats were great!

It took us 3 times to visit without having to wait in a line and at last. Came here on Sunday night with my boyfriend, it wasn't too busy like the usual because of the mucky weather, which was nice. It kinda sucks that you can't make a reservation under two people. The staff was very nice, our waiter seemed to be genuine taking our order and informing us how to place it since it was my second time. I do wish that instead of having to order another full bottle of sake, I could order half of it. Like when you order a bottle of wine at another restaurant and get a 6 oz instead of 9 oz. I also do wish that the sake came in piping hot instead of luke warm. Not everything came in at once but that could have also been our fault since we placed everything in different rounds or some things take longer to prepare than others. The food in general was lovely. We discovered the rice cakes, which were amazing. It was my first time having also having muscles that night which was a lovely experience. I could tell that they were good because of the chrome shine inside the shell. We really liked it there, I thought it was good. Definitely coming back here but next time i'll be sure to be more specific with my order and how I'd like things to come out. My boyfriend enjoyed it as well. The spicy and clear broth is very rich and tastes cozy, especially when it's freezing out.

The food was really good and it came out quickly. I came with a large group of friends and we stayed for several hours. Their dessert selection is small (a honeydew popsicle) but it's really tasty! Great for group meals and other events!!
