Mango Rain

Have been a patron for years. Very consistent over that time and our fav dishes are: Butter Chicken, Vegetable Biryani, Mulligatawny.

We had a great at this restaurant. We loved the first-rate atmosphere and the food. The waiters were very personal. I’m happy we eventually managed to eat here.

Menu is an interesting mix of Indian and Thai, but I was surprised that the menu lacked any kind of Paneer. There was a good number of vegetarian and even gluten free options. Mango Lassi was tasty. Price I found to be a little on the pricier end, but it's not overkill. Portioning is great, loved the Butter Chicken.

My spice tolerance isnt great, and the mild suits me well... My friend (who has had spice all her life) requested medium spice Channa which I tried... It was delicious but it would have been difficult for me to finish that without crying, haha.

It's a quieter restaurant, not very much traffic. We were 1 of 4 parties in the span of 2 hours or so.

The only thing that refrains me from giving full stars is the atmosphere. When we came in, it smelled delicious and my stomach grumbled. But after a while there is a slight musty smell. The waitress is nice and easy to understand but I wish recommendations were offered. She did go out of the way to make sure my special requests were fulfilled though. Finally, the physical menus themselves could probably have used a quick wipe. Other than these complaints I did enjoy the food and it was a good experience.

Would definitely recommend trying this place. Exceptional vibes, fresh food, excellent customer service. Highly recommended.

Without a doubt the best butter chicken that I have ever had!! My only disappointment was that for the price, there was very little chicken. I have ordered it twice now and each time we got 5 chunks of chicken, definitely not enough chicken to warrant the price but the flavour is amazing!!!

The service is also second to none and I love that it is family run and that they they take so much interest in their customers. I highly recommend this restaurant but make reservations on the weekend!
