The Works Gourmet Burger Bistro

This was my 2nd time at The Works.
If you love burgers then this is the place to go. I would recommend going through the menu online before arriving as there's an extensive list of choices.
Also arrive hungry, they are big burgers + sides. Not to mention bottomless fries and pop!
Keep in mind this is not a fast food joint. Good food takes time and isn't cheap.
The customer service you receive here is above average for the Mississauga area.
If you haven't been here yet I would recommend you go.

Superb. Fast, delicious and great service. Lots of seating. A vast choice of burger choices, something for everyone. I'm not really a burger guy but make an exception for this place. The tower of rings is a special treat!

First burger was not cooked thoroughly but the manager went above and beyond to make things right by giving a refund plus coupons for free items. Next burger was over cooked but tasted average. Good gluten free bun.

5 Stars to Nico and Nico only!! Honestly after having him serve me for the first time, he made my experience at The Works Port Credit above and beyond. The second time ( Aprox. A week later) I had another waitress but she didn’t reach the standard that Nico set. I waited about 20 minutes to even order my food, my food was a little cold and I wasn’t checked up upon until she noticed I was getting a little bit antsy. It was about 8pm when we arrived so I understand that they were closing soon but I would’ve appreciated the same service you would get when they first open up. In comparison, Nico was outstanding and covered every aspect of everything ( even things I wasn’t thinking of) he started by greeting us with water and drinks, telling us all about the specials and what was good or not. He checked on us frequently with a big smile which was welcoming and when we asked for extra sauce on the side... he came back with EXTRA sauce ( even two kinds of hot sauce) , Nico informed us how everything was cooked and made sure it was okay ,(which didn’t happen the second time) he also came to the table with refills right when we finished our drinks which means he was actually looking and paying attention. By the end of our second visit we saw that he popped out from the back and said hello, we were relieved and decided from now on if we were to come back to the works, we are going to call ahead and ask if he’s working!! If Nico so graciously serves you, you’ll see that he deserves a 20%+ tip!
