“While in Square One tried the Veggie Bento Platter at S&S. The order is taken quickly but does take time to make it on a busy day. The order comes with avocado sushi rolls, veggie stir fry, a few pieces of tempura (all sweet potatoes) and steamed rice. The tempura hot and fresh. The sushi not so much. The stir fry fresh and crunch veggies perfectly cooked and nicely seasoned. A bit pricey though, but not a bad deal.”

“It's a pleasure to find such incredible, fresh and tasty food!! We are very picky foodies and when we found Koha Korean/Hawaiian fusion we were intrigued... And after we enjoyed it we are big fans! The variety of ingredients are all so fresh and colourful, and together and with the tasty sauces our meals were fabulously good. The staff were very friendly and helped us navigate the numerous savoury options, which include lots for gluten-free and vegetarian people. I can't wait to go back and try more!”

“My colleagues and I went there last Friday evening for our Xmas Party. There was 8 of us and because it was a last minute thing, we sat in the lounge. They accommodated us even though we did not have reservations.The service was absolutely fantastic and so was the food. The waitresses and Managers were exceptional and treated us to free appetizers. Nick (one of the Managers) does a great job of making sure customers are happy. Great job to all the staff! I will definitely return!”

“It's still a good place for a quick lunch/coffee break . The muffins are not the same as they used to be. The coffee is very good and made fresh. Terrific fresh juices and a good assortment of healthy options. General the baked goods are tasty and baked fresh daily. Some of the mains could be better seasoned and the veggies can tend to be under cooked.”

“Located in the newly opened food district in side of Square One Mall is a cool little local owned chip store that sells freshly made chips. My wife first brought it home for me which was a bag of sweet potato, cassava, plantain, tortilla and taro chips, to my surprise it was very good, tasty and felt gourmet. I went back with my wife another time and noticed that they also make nachos, actually a bunch of cool combinations. Some of the ones I noticed were their jerk chicken flavour, savoury BBQ chicken, and Montreal smoked meat. I ended up getting an order of their Montreal smoked meat nachos which consists of their small batch tortilla chips, Montreal smoked meat, cheddar cheese, green onions, and some mustard sauce. Wow explosion of flavours in your mouth with every bite because they actually layer everything when they build your nachos. I noticed other than chips they also sell original humus, salsa, cheddar cheese, and roasted red pepper dip for you to enjoy with their tortilla chips. We bought a bottle of their salsa and I found that it is on the slightly sweeter side of things, I would have enjoyed it more if it was a little more tangy. Once you have a few bite of the tortilla with their salsa the spice does seem to punch you in the face though which I enjoyed and totally forgot that the salsa was on the sweeter note of things. We will for sure be back to try their other nacho combinations and other chips. Cheers!!!”

“Great restaurant in terms of value. It's definitely not the best BBQ I've had but will fill you up at a fairly reasonable price for a Square One restaurant. Unfortunately, the coleslaw was some of the blandest I've tasted and had almost no flavour. The barbecue flavouring on the wings was also a bit off (I think it wasn't as sweet as I would like). Would still recommend.”

“Wow! We were impressed by this little “food court restaurant!” The food is delicious and the service was amazing! You must try this if you’re at the Food District in Square One and looking for a good meal. There’s lots of treats in the same area like doughnuts and macaroons, but Plancha is definitely a place to eat! Highly recommend and we will be back! We purchased our meals to go. It comes with pita and a side salad!”

“Was a lot of fun. It felt bigger then the downtown one if you have ever been. There was two levels, the upper level was good for eating and relaxing by the stage. All the games were downstairs and had a good selection. They even have a nice bowling alley downstairs which was busy but looked like a lot of fun. “This location has salads if you wish to skip fries. However, the service could be much better if team work was practiced. You see a lack of team work in the mornings. Drive through service is the hardest. Often, my drive through orders are incorrect - items missing in a large order for four (fries and wrong condiments on special orders including sandwiches and hot drinks). My issues have been with this location's drive through which would be more convenient if it worked properly. On the other hand, the in service at this location is good especially if you have little ones. They have a large playground an is open 24 hours.”
