Swiss Chalet

A lot of fun. Friendly service. We had booked a space for a birthday, 25. And were welcomed and treated wonderfully.

Our last two visits were not as pleasant bec of really long wait times. One time they were so under staffed we waited over half an hour for our food. Previously though, dinner was typical SC experience with friendly staff, hot food, family friendly atmosphere. I would rate a 3 based on recent experience but that wouldn't be fair as they were good prior to the massive delays. I'll give them another chance next visit.

Just wanted to take a moment to compliment the service we received from Maggie today at lunch. She took our orders, our meals arrive in time and she was fantastic! I appreciate a server who does a great job, and she handled our table of 3 adults with a perfect display of relaxed competence. Wonderful woman with a great customer friendly personality. Well done! Keep it up. She is reason why I continually come back to that location.

This Swiss Chalet has been renovated recently to meet their new corporate standards. Look is now fresher and more modern Roadhouse. Food is consistent as you would expect from Swiss Chalet. Currently there is a weekend promotion where kids eat free with purchase of regular entree. Went on a Sunday for lunch and it was not busy at all. This location is in an industrial area.

The service was at times slow but excusable for how busy it was. The place was packed.

The mash and gravy were very good and of course that special Swiss chalet sauce hit the spot. The pumpkin pie was generic but what you’d expect so not bad.

The chicken was juicy and not dry so maybe I got lucky as some descriptions and reviews before me said the chicken was dry.

Overall a good experience at an old Canadian favorite of mine.
