One of the best dumplings I have tasted. Flavorful and juicy and they don't fall apart. The fried pumpkin cake was equally delicious and surprisingly soft and chewy. The tomato and egg noodles were also very good with just the right mix of noodles, eggs, tomato and cause. Finally the salt and pepper pork knuckles are tender and tasteful. I would have liked it a little more fried but it was just a matter of individual preference and the dish was well made.

My friend had been eyeing this restaurant since the renovation. Every single time we drove pass it, she would say let's go try when it's open. So we did.
Went for dinner, a bit of lineup, not too bad. We liked the cucumberXpork ear and the beef roll. The dumplings came out to be dry and a bit flavorless. We ordered 3 different kinds of dumplings, but half way through we were still having difficulties deciding which is which. The potsticker tasted fine but it was sorta burnt. The pork stew came in those individual sized Korean soup pot, not impressed. The dry noodles was meh...Don't order the cabbage stir-fry.

This is the second location that opens up from Midland and Finch. Came on a Sunday afternoon and the wait was pretty long. The place is big so it can accommodate a lot of ppl (at least 8 large tables and another 15 small tables).

The food in general is pretty decent. The dumplings are pretty juicy on the whole at least for both fried and steamed ones. However the xiaolungbao was on the dry side. There wasn't any soup in it. The beef noodles were also pretty good. Broth had enough punch and the red bean pancake was also pretty good. I managed to take some pics of the food but missed a few coz the table was hungry everyone was diving into the food lol.

It's a welcoming addition to this area as there's not much dumpling options around here but hopefully the dumplings will improve once they settle down as they did have a huge crowd on a Sunday afternoon. Would definitely come back for another try again!
