A+ BAMIYAN KABAB

Really delicious food, I had the vaziri, (sp?)... a skewer of beef kofta and a skewer of chicken breast. Both were very good and not overly seasoned like a lot of other places.

I did takeout but the dining area is really different / cool... I walked in and for a split second thought I screwed up and walked into a mattress store - they have hookah / sheesha and it's set up more for those looking to smoke. I guess these giant "sheesha couches" are designed to simulate the social, floor sitting sheesha smoking experience - very cool in my opinion.

Definitely recommended.

I really liked the kafta (or koobidah or spiced ground beef skewer). It was not served drenched in its own fat as some other nearby places serve it and was pleasant to eat. I would come back for that. The chicken and beef filet was not as good (perhaps needed to marinate longer). The white rice was plain (I didn't eat it with the spices/butter given with it) and the salad was sub-par for me (it didn't look particularly appetizing and the dressing was added to it instead of on the side, so as I didn't like the dressing, the salad suffered as well.) I will have to weigh the price of the meal against the so-so taste and presentation as it was not cheap. The proprietors were very nice so I wish them well.

The staff is so kind! We were visiting from Brampton , and loved this place! The food is amazing, the staff there are so sweet and have the nicest personalities! They took the time to get to know us, I see them walking around to each table with the most friendliest smiles! We thought they owned the place! I’m so glad I’ve met them! Best service, delicious food, everything was amazing - also made great friends with them ????????
