“Greek Market Cafe was amazing! I had high expectations, and being a person with Greek heritage, was very excited to see this place open so close to home. It surpassed all my expectations. Friendly staff, amazing selection of products, food, drink and deserts, some things I haven’t even seen since my last trip to Greece! “Small restaurant that's cozy and nicely renovated, modern Japanese cuisine that delivers high quality food. Their tempura and tempura based rolls were fried very carefully with even batter and nice color, and the sashimi was fresh. Rolls and accompaniments were all tasty. I give them 8/10!”

“Had breakfast here after a recent trip to my dentist. Breakfast specials include a coffee/latte for a reduced price which was nice. I had avocado toast and a fruit cup. Service was efficient and quick, and the food was fresh and tasty. I thought the portions were a tad small for the cost, but perhaps I need to come back and try some different lunch items. The place has a trendy atmosphere and in the summer there is a small outdoor patio space.”

“I really liked the kafta (or koobidah or spiced ground beef skewer). It was not served drenched in its own fat as some other nearby places serve it and was pleasant to eat. I would come back for that. The chicken and beef filet was not as good (perhaps needed to marinate longer). The white rice was plain (I didn't eat it with the spices/butter given with it) and the salad was sub-par for me (it didn't look particularly appetizing and the dressing was added to it instead of on the side, so as I didn't like the dressing, the salad suffered as well.) I will have to weigh the price of the meal against the so-so taste and presentation as it was not cheap. The proprietors were very nice so I wish them well.”

“This past weekend we had our engagement party at Apadana. Prior to the party we had looked at 3 other places in the same area to host our function. Myself I had been to the other places and was hesitant to use them for a few reasons 1) they tend to over promise and under deliver. 2) when you get a bill at the end of the night there are a lot of “additional” charges.3) the food is typically overcooked and dry Anyway my mom scoped out Apadana and when we walked in we immediately liked the set up of the place. Also let me tell you the washrooms were extremely clean which typically tell you if the operator values cleanliness or not. Mona the manager was extremely helpful but more importantly honest as well which I really enjoyed. She was quite accommodating and allowed us to come to the restaurant the day of the engagement to set up the place. The engagement party was a blast the food was amazing and the staff was impeccable. We didn’t have a single issue the day of the engagement and I think credit needs to go to Mona and her staff at Apadana who operated at the highest level of professionalism. More importantly the entertainment was fantastic. Our group had the dance floor rocking all night. Overall a fantastic night and we have the staff at Apadana to thank. So once again thank you.”

“I loved the place’s vibe and the food was absolutely delicious. I knocked off 2 stars because we disliked the mannerism of our waiter. Right from when we stepped in, he acted like we were bothering him and he had something better to do. I wouldn’t go back there because service is really high on my list and I drove all the way there with my colleagues cos we wanted to try out a new place so ah well. That’s that. We all agreed the place was nice but he was the only waiter we saw there and the place was empty when we got there so he really can’t have been under any previous stress. I hope he does better.”

“When i first got into the restaurant the owner offered me the best french fries and dip I have ever had. All the staff seem extremely friendly and the burgers are properly cooked. Yummi's is hands down one of the best burger places I have ever been to. I haven’t had food this good in forever!!!!! There is no one that compares and if you don’t come to the restaurant you are really missing out on amazing food and service”

“While the food that I've ordered here has been delicious, on my last visit i randomly looked up while waiting for my food and saw the chef who prepares the sushi wipe his gloved hand on an orange rag that was sitting on the counter(he was walking back to the front of the kitchen) While I didn't see the whole situation, those gloves are disposable for a reason and that is enough for me to not risk eating here again. It's a shame because the food is great.”

“Just picked up a extra large walk-in special that was half pepperoni, bacon and extra cheese and the other half was pineapple, green pepper and artichoke, well done with light sauce and extra cheese on the base layer. Just finished eating the pizza and it was the BEST PIZZA I've had in a long time! The gentleman working showed me my pizza before I left which I appreciated. “Use to be a 4-star, but i give it average of 3. Use to have great promo and value, 2 Mama burgers for $5. but as they've updated their menu over time, it's no longer good value. Trying to price itself as a premium burger, but it's just not there. Fries are good, burgers are what you expect, but not for the current pricing. They haven't had promos lately so it's lost its edge as an alt to the other burger chains to offer better value.”

“Mr. Congee is a great Chinese restaurant that offers a good variety of items. Usually, I am a bit skeptical of Chinese restaurants due to the fact that the staff are not fluent in English, but I'm glad that wasn't the case here. I appreciate that the workers I talked to conversed perfectly in English and were very polite. The food was above average for an ordinary Chinese restaurant. My family enjoyed it, and so did I. I posted pictures of some of the dishes we ordered (not the best photographer though, sorry)! For a table of 9, we ended up paying approximately 25 dollars per person. With high quality seafood and many other dishes, it was affordable. In all, I recommend Mr. Congee and would come back!”
