Aneal's Taste of the Islands

Had small jerk chicken and curry chicken. Both came with peas and rice and coleslaw. We dined in. Service is lovely. The food tasted so good and there was so much of it. I would call them large portions, not small. I couldn't finish my curry chicken so my son helped out there. The 2 meals with a drink were about $25. Nice treat.

Jerk chicken!!!!! A must have at Aneal's. Very flavourful and the chicken was cooked to perfection. If you cannot handle spice, then don't get extra spice, but if you can, the homemade hot sauce is great. Lastly, the owner is very friendly. Goes out of his way to get to know his customers and make them feel at home.

Just visited tonight, owner(?) and the chef were both great and welcoming. Food was great as well. We had a stew Oxtail, jerk chicken and fish. A little bit spicy for the kids but they handled it well. He also offered a treat for the kids.
It's not only the food that sells the place, but the service and respect as well. Would definitely visit again in the near future.

First time ordering from here! Can’t believe I didn’t sooner. Food is full of flavour and the portions are great. I don’t know why anyone would say the portions are small. As for the price, again if you want good quality, clean and health produce it costs money and I think the price of the food here is very reasonable. We got the jerk chicken dinner with rice and coleslaw. VERY YUMMY! We also got the chicken curry roti and that was full of flavour and big portion. Lots of meat inside! Overall will order again and highly recommend.

Great service, owner was very friendly and all the food was extremely delicious. Highly recommend this hidden gem!! So glad I stopped by and definitely want to visit again if I'm back in the area!! I have never written a review before but honestly this was so good I had to do my first one :)
