Service was fast and friendly. Very clean, food was delicious but no close washroom because the west side was being renovated.
Pork needed more time cooking to become fall off the bone texture for the gamjatang
This place is a really good hidden spot!
With Toronto having so many good Korean restaurants, it's a pleasant surprise to find a superb one in such a low-key mall. They have good combo packages, many of which are around the $100 mark, which can EASILY feed 5 people.
The pork bone soup/gamjatang here is so tender and tasty, I highly recommend it. Also, we got some kickass seafood pancake/haemool paejeon with soy sauce to die for.
Also as a side note, it's really nice how high the ceilings are, it makes for an environment that doesn't feel cramped. I'd come back!
The mackerel was amazing but the bulgogi was very disappointing. Also I wish they served cold glass noodles. Other than that, the rest of the dishes were pretty good too. The only downside is the tables are pretty close, and the patrons are an unsavoury bunch. I heard the family next to me chewing through all of my dinner
This is a great little Korean spot. They have good portions along with decent prices. the Food is always comes out hot and they have a good selection on individual dishes or family combos. Keep in mind that the family combos are pretty big and really feeds a person or 2 more than they say. The service is pretty decent as they seem like a family run restaurant so they are sometimes swamped and understaffed. Dont let that deter you, the food is good. They do accept reservations and can call ahead.
