MI-NE Japanese Restaurant

we usually get a sushi platter (take out) and they always provide us with a cooked fish for free. this time we ordered the medium love boat and it was alright. this place is always packed. definitely need to make reservations.

MINE is our regular sushi place and we go there or order takeout at least once per month. Today I attended with my wife and kids for lunch and the service was not up to the level we are accustomed to. In fact I rarely tip less than 15% and my wife cautioned me to "not tip or tip 10% only" when the bill came. The staff was just not attentive; we received two spoons but had 4 people at the table, and when I asked for two more the waitress nodded agreement and then disappeared never to bring them... same with water for the kids... my wife had too ask twice before anyone came... same with the green tea... I had to flag down someone to refill our cups. Not sure if it was new staff or maybe uncertainty about who was responsible for the table, but not the service we were accustomed to receiving.

Dine-in or take-out, either way you’ll enjoy delicious sushi! The sashimi is always fresh and the portions very satisfying. The restaurant isn’t large, but it’s a great spot to host a small gathering/celebration, just be sure to reserve in advice one of their private tables.

This is not their fault but I feel I should mention that the parking is VERY tight in the plaza so just beware.

Service was great and the servers were very courteous. The only reason why I gave this 4 stars is because the prices are a bit steep compared to some other places I’ve tried. That’s not to say I wouldn’t come back, though.

I’ve loved mi-ne sushi for years! Not only is the sushi, and all of the food, fresh and delicious, but the decor inside is very nice as well. Many tables are isolated from the others in cute little booths, creating a more intimate and personal environment. The service is friendly and quick as well. Some may say it’s a pricier location, but I think that for what you’re getting, it’s well worth it.
