Yesterday was our second visit in the past 3 weeks to Creole Jamaican Kitchen in Vaughan. The food here is excellent. This is going to be our foodie spot because even chefs need a break from culinary work. Yesterday we had the soup, which was Fish tea, oh my such a good soup. We then tried the Brown stew fish and Escovitch fish, every bite was a wonderful foodie experience. Our server has such a pleasant and truly wonderful personality, always smiling and checking on us. Out first time there it was steam fish, and the double meat dish oxtail and jerk pork, very very good.
We got to meet the owner who is the chef so we know the quality will be consistent. Get over to Creole Jamaican Kitchen soon. A truly nice restaurant and superb experience.
Went last night to celebrate my husbands birthday there was 12 of us. The food was great and the rum punch fantastic. The restaurant had a great atmosphere and very clean. The only complaint is the service was slow. I would recommend this restaurant. ????????
My first time here with my husband and we love jerk chicken. We are so impressed with the quality and taste Creole has to offer. The restaurant is clean and very welcoming. The staff are friendly and sweet. I would definitely recommend this place if you're in Woodbridge craving some good, true authentic Caribbean cuisine.
The rice and peas and oxtail gravy taste good. The fry chicken bland and when asked for well done for the jerk also it’s not. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice. The air conditioner is on too cold but I can only imagine how hot it is in the back. They should sell white meat and charge extra. The oxtail I had could of been cooked more and chopped better and possibly a little more flavoured. But again I like this restaurant and it has a lot of potential.
I’m excited to see what the future holds. This is not a bad review or me being too critical. I want this place to thrive it’s close and the food don’t taste bad. Bless up
The food is amazing! You can tell they put a lot of care into the food as it is very high quality compared to other Jamaican restaurants. My group had the oxtail, jerk pork, jerk chicken, curry chicken, chicken roti, and beef patties and everyone agreed it all tasted great - even their patties tasted home made. The owner also came by to say hi which was a really nice touch. The ambiance is nicely decorated and they have a patio! I'd definitely come back!
