Lumbertown Ale House

Great food. Good beer. Great service. Music on Saturdays fun.

Stopped here for lunch and very pleasantly surprised. Friendly staff were very welcoming. Menu options were great; my wife had power bowl with salmon and I had the elk burger - both were excellent. Wide selection of local craft beers on tap as well as domestic options. Our meal was so good we decided we couldn’t skip dessert. We weren’t disappointed; the warm butter tart with pecan ice cream was phenomenal! Too bad we live so far away ????

I was staying in Arnprior recently while working in the area. The hotel clerk suggested Lumbertown. I went there on a Sunday night and was completely impressed with the atmosphere, the food, and the beer selection. I went back for dinner again Monday through Thursday because the menu has sufficient variety as well. Also, it was refreshing to find casual dining without a hundred TVs blaring away. Lumbertown has no TVs, just background music at a reasonable level so distractions are few and if you want a conversation you don't need to shout. Last but not least, a huge shout out to the staff. They are all friendly, welcoming, courteous, and efficient. I'll be back I'm sure. Check it out sometime and say hi to Kat and Michelle when you're there!

Very nice place recommended by the Highlands website. It has a great menu and the food is good. Prices are a bit high, but you won't be disappointed in the meals.

Lumbertown Ale House has a diversified selection of beers that changes regularly. Service is friendly and prices are reasonable. The patio is particularly cozy in the summer. You can purchase shirts, caps and even hot sauces inside.
