One of my favourite restaurants in Barrie. Great trivia nights, great pizzas. I had a Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich that set the bar. My favourite pizza is Cat III White Out, great if you love arugula. And the hot sauce is a must try. Used to be made by a local guy but now it's made in-house and it's not extremely spicy but it is very flavorful.

I am reviewing this as I eat the fried Brussels Sprouts, only for the fact that every other kind of sprout is now dead to me. Sprouts have no right to taste this good.

If you're looking for the best Barrie brewery, Barnstormer is it. The food is consistently excellent (see above Brussels Sprouts revelation). The staff is fantastic. The craft beer is dangerously drinkable and always exciting and new (I've been waiting all year for the Santa's Sleigh and it's better than before). I've lost track of the beers I've fallen in love with here. Porters, IPAs, lagers - whatever you take, Barnstormer has, and better than you've had it before.

It's our favourite place. It'll be yours, too.

FANTASTIC! My family and I visited here during our trip to Ontario from Illinois and it was our favorite restaurant we went to on our vacation. We got a pepperoni and sausage pizza and it may have been one of the best pizzas I've had. The crust was perfectly cooked, the sauce was good and the sausage was great. Different than what were used to in Chicago. I also ordered the Pommies Cider and it was amazing. So crisp and delicious. My dad also ordered the bourbon barrel aged stout and as someone who doesn't care for dark beer it was incredible! I would've gotten a glass for myself if I hadn't gotten the cider.

Excellent service. Staff is phenomenal; makes you feel like you’re in your garage having your favourite beer. Food is very very tasty! You won’t regret it.
Don’t think about it twice. Cheers!

A pleasant atmosphere in the restaurant/brewery. The manager was great from the moment we walked in. She never stopped looking after us and wanting to make sure we were happy. The food was good. However, the reason for the four stars has to do with value. The portion given for the amount charged was small. Other restaurants in the area give double the portion we got for the same price. They should consider their portions. They would still make a profit, but more importantly they will have repeat customers and a good word of mouth.
