A very friendly and cozy restaurant with incredibly delicious offerings. The proprietor, Jenn, or one of her superior team members will greet you at the door & show you to a cozy table. A very nice selection of wine and spirits goes nicely with your meal. If you want to try the latest cocktail, they will fix you up in no time at all. If you want to catch the game while you enjoy unwinding after work with appetizers and a drink, then you have found this gem in south Barrie. In the end, excellent food, drink and service under one roof, Urban Dish Grill excels at all. Treat yourself to a memorable experience.

Popped in after a cottage weekend because of the great reviews, and quickly realized they were wholly accurate. The food, service, and staff and exceeded our expectations. The baby octopus with plum chutney made a perfect beginning to our meal, and the main options all sounded delicious. The prime rib was succulent, and when their in-house horseradish proved too mild for our tastes, they graciously shredded horseradish root to accommodate.

Our server was polite, efficient, and possessed a delightful sense of humor. Barrie is a long way from Toronto, but Urban Dish is worth the trip. We look forward to more top notch experiences with this deservedly well-renowned establishment.
