    Food is good. not very loud so you can have a conversation with people around you unless it is a music night

    I hadn't been to The Beacon in about 35 years and not much has changed. (The flooring is nice) Everything else is very tired looking. Our meals were mediocre, at best. My husband's club sandwich was bland. His soup was barely warm. The music was too loud for conversation. Service was fine. This restaurant has longevity....I'll say that.

    Best fish and chips I've ever had. Mud cake is to die for. Service is fantastic.
