“The food here tastes pretty good, it is certainly not amazing. While York is lacking many "sit-down" restaurants, The Underground is one of the better ones. There are many aspects of the menu that are great such as the lattice fries and many other appetizers. The menu itself is very diverse with a lot of options. There are a lot of variations with the food to better serve many dietary restrictions. The newly renovated space is great in-between classes with friends or family. It is also a cheap and good place to grab a drink.”

“The pizza is alright. The garlic Parmesan crust and the garlic dip (it's melted garlic butter) are very nice touches. The pizza had to be heated up since it was no longer hot and what might not have helped is that it was put in the trunk of the vehicle where it is cold. The delivery man was nice but I was concerned when I noticed that he had congealed blood under his thumb nail. He should have it covered with a bandage for his own sake and for the sake of others, especially since he is delivering food.”

“Overall food was okay, and in my opinion not worth it for the price. Presentation looked great but it could have definitely been more flavorful. Fruit and potatoes were lack luster, and the smoothie was okay. Definitely enjoyed the eggs Benedict though, they had really nice soft, poached runny eggs that slightly justified the price.”

“This is not an authentic Thai place ... at best it is a Indian joint with Thai items on menu. Ordered Pad Thai and Red Curry (both Chicken) and possibly the most common Thai items. The Pad Thai was cooked in a Tamarind sauce and lacked Thai flavors. It had Paneer cubes in it and I wonder why?? The Red curry was very mild and seemed more like a lemon grass flavored coconut cream soup. And who puts Broccoli in Red curry... yikes!!! 2 star for the home delivery service and good packing of food. One more for not letting my review look too negative. Need to find a better Thai place.”

“Four of us stopped there for our brunch on a Sunday morning. After 20 minute waiting, we were lead by a friendly young girl. Coffee was good. Food was fantastic. The hall was open space, clean, and all new. We felt home and liked the name of the establishment- Good Morning Friends. Price was reasonable as well. Thumbs up!”

“Loved this place. Not very big but plenty space for about 60-80 people. Looked clean and organized. Very well laid out menu its easy to navigate. Friendly server answered all the questions we had. If you are European - eastern European to be more specific - then the food on the menu will hit home! Very decently price but go hungry because the portions are very generous. “A really good A and W. Busy but not crowded and a friendly manager who stops to chat a bit when serving you at the counter. Very refreshing to see! The food is well prepared and is ready in a timely manner. The only odd experience I had here was a person walking around the restaurant offering people some dessert she made from a Tupperware. We politely declined but it made my Mom feel very uneasy about dining there. I think the person meant well, but I was surprised that was being allowed in the dining area. The staff seemed aware of this person. Other than that, I loved this location - especially the little sink in the patron’s wash up area. That was a really nice touch!! Nice! ????????”

“Stopped in for lunch and had a chicken wrap. It was pretty good. My first bite was tasty and hot. The toppings appeared fresh and tasted good. The restaurant was fairly busy when I was there around 1pm. They were just putting fresh chicken on the pit as well. I didn't have any problem here.”
