A fabulous and funky place! Live Mic Night was amazing -- so many styles of entertainment, all warmly appreciated by everyone there. The staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming. We made a wonderful memory and will return when we visit Toronto again!

The food was quite good, however the service was very rude and unprofessional. While I understand that our server was clearly the only person running the restaurant for brunch, there is a certain level of professionalism that is required for someone in the service industry. Telling our table to "order and make it quick" is absolutely not the way to do customer service. Especially when we waited 30 minutes for some coffee. There are just so many other restaurants in Toronto with food as good or better and proper service. For that alone, I will not be back.

Food.. phenomenally fresh. I can personally recommend the $1 oysters, the in-house made gnocchi, and the autumn spiced custard. Service.. Kayla was fantastic and attentive. Live music..perfect for a romantic date or casual night out with friends (saxophone and guitar were on point; both acoustic and base).

Alchemy hosted our engagement party and it was a wonderful night from start to finish. The bar staff decorated a bit with balloons and a chalkboard message for us (a total surprise!) and the cocktail selection was top-notch. Everyone enjoyed the food as well, and the live jazz band was a hit. We've been a couple times for the music and it's a great cozy spot for an intimate New Orleans-style concert experience!

Absolutely loved the food and atmosphere! When I came with my family to alchemy. After hearing about it from a friend in toronto I will be a repeat customer. Live music, great food, and specialty drinks. I had the burger and a beer, a timeless classic, and each bite was uniform and delicious. The beers are crisp and local and the music ties it all together. I LOVE LOVE LOVED Alchemy ❤️⚗️
