Asian Buffet

We had an excellent experience in this spot. We loved the awesome vibes and the menu. The staff were very friendly. I am happy we eventually managed to eat here.

Found human feces on the floor in the women's washroom♧ The buffet was great then I saw that. I would have given a better rating if the facilities were clean. Makes one wonder how clean the rest of the restaurant is. BUT like I said, they have great tasting food and service. I live out of province now so do not visit often (could have been short handed staff or unreliable/new staff that shift).

Food was decent, ambiance was pleasant. It's an old family based buffet, the decor is what you would expect. The prices are affordable, for a small restaurant it has good variety of dishes.

I sampled 11 items (including shrimp) and only one I would rate under a 8/10. Meats are tender and moist and the food is seasoned well. At $10.99 for lunch, I would choose this over the $25+ options I've tried within the city. You do lose on atmosphere though. The place needs a renovation. Hence I couldn't give 5 stars. Also, the service isn't great. They moved the plates quickly but my host lead me to a table without saying a single word. I questioned if he was mute. It was weird. And then although there a sign that says pay your server, the server seems annoyed when I asked her to bring the credit card machine and she sent me to the cashier.

This place was a surprise to me - I had been by it for years but never went in. Hot foods were hot and cold foods were cold. All were pretty tasty and a good selection. They had my favourite - green tea ice cream!
Only downside was the decor -the plastic tablecloths and chairs need a refresh. I would go again and the others in my group would too and some had been there many times before. Price was reasonable.
