Fantastic upscale restaurant! The staff were friendly, very knowledgeable and helpful. Perfect tasting main course accompanied with sides on separate plates. Charming rustic style decor that makes you feel like you are in a French village, and appropriate music as well for the atmosphere. If I was to make suggestions, I would say: don't serve too fast, while table members are still washing up to prepare for a meal. Also, I would love to see some master-chef plate sauce artistry, which was the only thing missing from the perfect dinner.
Would definitely recommend this restaurant, it's worth the expense.

Went here for a casual lunch on a spur of the moment decision, when we were in the area and I remembered having an unused gift card that I got last Christmas. When we arrived, at 1:30 pm on a Wednesday, the place seemed 98% empty with only 2 or 3 occupied tables. The restaurant is very big and has a decent, classy design but nothing to write home about. I didn't find our table very cozy or pleasant but it was the only 2 person table in the space that was being served, so we weren't really given a choice... As I had already expected at this point, a $50 gift card would not cover a single person's weekday lunch here (before including drinks & desserts).

On the positive side, the food was indeed top notch and pretty to look at (maybe excluding one portion). Wines were great but super pricy as well. The server was  professional and pleasant.

I do understand how others might rave about this (case in point: my employer who gave me this card). For me, though, if I am to spend this much on a lunch, there are a few other places in Toronto I'd choose first, for having the merit of spectacular views or a more pleasing ambiance, in addition to a great cuisine.

One of Toronto’s finest. We have dined at this venerable establishment over the last 20 years and have hosted several black tie events at the Oak Room. The food, atmosphere and service is exceptional - and they have kept the menu fresh and inspired. A must experience.

Excellent experience at this French restaurant. The food was absolutely perfect! I have never had French food before and I was amazed. The server was very helpful in explaining the options available and gave some really good recommendations. The atmosphere was really nice.

Went to a wedding at this place last night. What an awesome set of staff, from the hostess to all the waiters. Very friendly and always smiling, especially the lady with the long blonde greyish curly hair about 26. Food and drinks was excellent, and the place was very clean. Highly recommend.
