Black Angus Steakhouse

I used to love this steakhouse but recently their quality of meats and food have changed drastically. You can eat the same steak at any Keg for a cheaper price with bells and whistles. Even the asparagus served on the side has transformed from pencil thin crispy flavorful vegetable to a Hulk size tasteless green thing. I would not suggest spending money here unless they change their suppliers back to the original ones.

Food was incredible. Yes pricey as some have said but it was absolutely delicious. The only complaint we had was the upcharging without knowing. We ordered steak and we were asked If we wanted any sauce to accompany it. We chose one and when the bill came it was an extra charge, not disclosed ahead of time. The food however was delicious.

Food was excellent at lunch time. Dessert was heavenly. Ribs is huge be ready to take some home. Their vegetarian cauliflower dish was so good and filling ( large cauliflower). The only reason I did not give a 5 was because we did not see anyone to greet us at the door for a long while and were not sure what to do as it was our first time there. Seeing it was not busy at lunch-time all tables should have been ready to seat us without having to look around for cutlery. Maybe they could place a sign for us to seat ourselves or go to the bar. Server was good great.

Came to the steakhouse to support someone, and being vegan was worried that there would not be any options for us. To our surprise the restaurant had several options, along with a dedicated vegetable grill ! More impressive were the chefs, who took time to create us a special vegan dinner. That is so very much appreciated ! We too appreciate talented chefs, fine food, great service, beautiful decor, friendly staff, great wine and to be made to feel welcome. We got all of that on our visit this weekend. Thanks Jade for such great service and thank you to all the staff who made our night at a steakhouse a vegan lovers dream !! :)
