Boxcar Social

An excellent place to relax from the big city. You enjoy a wonderful view of the water. The staff is relaxed and friendly. The guests are mostly young and urban. Could be a favourite place.

Aside from the bee sting on the patio, my time was lovely. The server was attentive and nice. The coffee was great and had a couple whiskies as well. I'd say you're paying a 2 premium for the setting, but not sure if that's the case at the other locations. Didn't get a chance to try their food.

The restaurant has a great patio to be on during the summer!

I sat inside which was rather dark and less lively compared to the patio. Grabbed a cappuccino that cost me about $4.80 with tip.

I would recommend going here during the summer for an awesome lake view but probably just above average otherwise.

Walking by the waterfront, we ate at boxcar. The staff was friendly. The location is lovely as they have a really nice terrace. Inside, the design is nice and the restaurant is clean. We ordered the fried chicken sandwich, and the orzo salad. Both were really good and tasty. Overall a good experience with tasty food, friendly staff, and a beautiful terrace.
