Overall had an enjoyable experience here. Ordered the Big Boy platter came with a nice selection of their barbecued meats. Enjoyed most of it just found that their brisket was a little underwhelming. The lack of serving utensils was a minor downfall having ordered the platter to share amongst 4 people. And also when we got the leftovers to go we didn't get our slider buns packed up in the mix ☹️. But I will definitely comeback! The ribs and sausage were amazing!
Great BBQ so far, in this area. Nice inside and out dining area. Main bar area, has the local alcoholics and the waitresses dress like it's a dive bar, not a restaurant. Will return for the food.
My favorite beach restaurant and pub. Everything we have eaten here is great. My partner loves the indecisive platter! The beer selection is great and our service is always spot on.
Try it out now! Pulled pork nachos, Mac and cheese balls and tacos are all great too!
Excellent value for money with kids-friendly, good vibes, and very good food & service.
Came in party of 5 (4 adults, 1 kid) and had a dish each and some beverages (ended up with a bill just shy of $100). Brisket plate indeed noteworthy, like other reviews noted. However other dishes were also both flavour-rich and with adequate quantity.
Service was both friendly and attentive, ended up reflecting that in the tip.
The dessert menu is somewhat lacking (only few options, none of which too appealing), so adjust your expectations - this is a meat place :)
I've been to this fine establishment many times but one story best summarizes my experiences.....
Let's start by setting the stage with the characters that made my night that much better, Panda and Ethan! Both have such vibrant, worldly personalities. Panda was 'upset!' or at least that's what Ethan told me. We played dad rock songs that changed panda's mood for the better. Ethan greeted every guest with his charm, " hey guys! Anywhere you like..." Eventually panda dimmed the lights and set the perfect mood for this local gem.
Drinks flowed and smoked wings were had. Sunday night at 'the wall' is something; if not for locals only. Conversations are always topical and friendships are easily formed. Sitting at this local bar is always a pleasure of mine! Especially when Ethan is his particularly authentic self.
