Cactus Club Cafe Sherway Gardens

Sherway Gardens has seen a surge of high quality offerings in the past several years and Cactus has added itself to that list. I feel Cactus is a more premium offering to that of Joeys, which is also located at Sherway. The Keg is also in close proximity, and while similar in quality, are different offerings (steak vs. everything). There is a wide range of food and beverage options available at Cactus, including some vegan, gluten free and meat alternative meats. Aside from the food and ambiance, the service is great. Prices reflect the quality of food and service. During weeknights and weekends, reservations are recommended.

This place is awesome!!!!! The food was great! And I don’t say that often!! Our waitress Sarah CK was wonderful she was welcoming and fun! As well as Simon and all of the team!!
We will definitely come back. The sangria was wonderful!!!! 10 stars! It was my birthday they sang to me and give us a nice cake!

Great Place-Food is always amazing (no matter what you choose from the menu). Music (Live D.J.) awesome. The vibe of this place is also fantastic! BUT I think the next time I or my group of friends decides to go out again this place is out of the question. The service was slow and they give you this rediculous 2 hour window to enjoy your evening. I thought it was completely unprofessional that the manager was walking around (and we could hear her because the conversation was right beside us on three separate occasions) discussing time limits and getting people out. We ordered order a coffee and a Brownie and were reminded that we needed to move soon. The manager working the bar area came to us and made us feel like she was doing us a favor by extending our time by 10 minutes. We were forced to pay and felt so rushed while we were eating. This is not the first time going here where the service is rushed or the waitresses seem less than impressed with their jobs. I have been to higher end restaurants-actually many restaurants and never in my life had an experience like this. SO to any ladies who do not want to have a quick bite to eat and you want to enjoy yourselves.... I HIGHLY recommend just walking over to Joey's.... That's what we did and it totally made up for our service we had at Cactus Club.

Made a reservation for a Saturday night dinner, I would recommend doing so as this place is busy!
It’s located just outside, but attached to Sherway mall in Etobicoke, so there is a lot of indoor and outdoor parking and it’s a very convenient for lunch or dinner when shopping.
Once we arrived, we noticed a line of people waiting to get in, but with a reservation we were seated quickly in the dining room vs the bar ( which seemed to be a lot more “happening”)
The dining room is good for everyone, including families with kids, the bar section not so much, it’s winter so I couldn’t check out the upstairs, but I understand in the summer it’s open to the outside and very modern, and a great place to eat and drink.

The menu is varied with all kinds of creative meals, as well as some familiar ones!

I ordered off the price fix menu, starting with a squash ravioli with shrimp, delicious... followed by the salmon dinner, it was good, although not creative!
.... for dessert, the chocolate peanut butter... I think cheesecake???
It was small... which is all I wanted... but delicious!
Service was very good, our server was very attentive and friendly.

Overall it was a good experience, and will definitely come back and try the lunch menu.
It’s good for young and old, singles and families, with an interesting menu, and a great atmosphere.
I would recommend a try!

Really like this restaurant. It is a bit on the pricier side but good ambiance. Tip: make reservations as this place is always busy! They got delicious truffle fries that you will dream about later in your sleep. Food is good too. Highly recommend especially with friends and coworkers
