Cafe D Taj

Tried the vorta thali, shrimp vuna with rice and chicken roast with porota. By far one of the tastiest shrimp vuna i have had and the vortas are priced well for the quantity. 5 types of vortas and daal is enough to fill 2 people, we ended up having left overs. My son loves porota with jhol so we ordered roast, he liked the porota so much we needed another one. Another thing i really liked about this restaurant is that there is a playing room for kids with toys and books. I have a hyperactive 4 year old and it kept him busy till the food came and afterwards while i enjoyed a cup of tea.

Good place to get Bangali dishes. Their Tehari is really delicious but they don't have any kind of lacchi. Service is not good enough.

Best bangali breakfast by far. Pure home made taste. Reminds me of how my mom used to make them for me.

The signage on the outside says it's the best Bangladeshi food in Toronto. Well, I don't know if it's actually THE best, but it is pretty good. Went with a Bangladeshi friend I've known for years. He ordered and yes, I certainly did enjoy it. But was it the best in Toronto? I may never really know for sure!
