California Sandwiches

The food wasn't too bad but it is definitely not worth what they charge. Definitely worth a try if you don't mind the prices too much. Make sure you give their eggplant parm a try!

The service and ambience of the restaurant are great. However, the food really isn't all it's made out to be. Spicy isn't nearly as spicy as it should be. And the meat to bun ratio isn't the greatest compared to some other Italian sandwich shops in the city. It's not awful but within a 10 minute drive there are definitely better shops, especially at that price point.

This location really skimps only the mini portion. One sad piece of veal. The Woodbridge location has twice the veal for the same price. This makes no sense. It’s the same restaurant, same owners and the price is the same. Disappointing. My family have been loyal customers of California since the original location opened in Little Italy. Please have standards and stick to them. Thanks!

This place is my preferable site. Of all restaurants I know I love it most. I never miss an opportunity to go to that place. when I want to go to a delicious supper, this restaurant comes instantly to my head. excellent and food and a large list of dishes.helpful staff, and good vibes. And very important, the expence is modest. I tell about this spot with pleasure.
