Captain's Catch

This restaurant located around the DVP and 401 has been our go to place for good Chinese food when we don't want to go all the way north to Markham or East to Scarborough. Service has always been great whether the place is busy or not. Prices are very good, the set menus worth the price (we always order the set recommended for one or two people less than our group size). Cantonese style with an emphasis on seafood. Everything we've tried has been good, not oily or salty. Place gets packed after 5 on the weekends and holidays. Expect to wait even if you make reservations, and the parking can be tight since it's shared with Tim Hortons.

VERY tasteful and customer service was excellent. Michelle was very insightful and offered suggestions. Food was hot in temperature and made well to order.

Typical family type dinner, fried rice and noodles are better than expected. Set dinner with seafood looks good, may try next time.

This is my very favourite Chinese restaurant. The chef is very creative, resulting in unique dishes not found in other restaurants. The decor is beautiful and spotlessly clean. If you are looking for unique Chinese dishes or unique presentations of familiar dishes, you have come to the place of your dreams. This is my favourite place to go for special occasions. If you go here and happen to see me, please say, "Hi."

Great value for seafood cooked to your liking. Get the set dinners for added value and great taste. Oysters are super delicious. Lobster were juicy and tender. Side dishes were a perfect complement to the main seafood dishes. Staff are pleasant and crack jokes with you. Cash lady in the front always greet you with a smile!
