Chop Chop

I almost had a heart attack when I thought they were closed permanently- turned out they’re just closed for the holidays thankfully! This is my all time favorite Chinese resto in North America. Love this place.

The food was amazing and authentic. The menu was extremely approachable, for those who are looking to try Chinese food for the first time. Would like it if they had a cocktail menu, as the bar looks well shelved.

Checking another one off my bookmark list, I was super impressed with this Chinese restaurant. Small, but a good amount of seating. More upscale than your typical Chinese restaurant. What I was most impressed by, was the lack of grease in the food! Typically ordering Chinese food tastes so heavy and can be shiny with grease. Not here though. Friendly service. And they offer takeout/delivery. I'll be coming back here for sure. Best part is the White Rabbit candies with the bill!

I’ve come here twice. Good food, and friendly services. However, the elder cook in the kitchen was talking loudly while cooking, so I was a bit concerned about the hygiene issue. Besides, I heard him judging the customers based on their shapes and stuff. Not only one time, my two experiences . He’s speaking in Mandarin Chinese and he probably thought no one would understand so that he could do it indulgently or he just didn’t care, but I happened to know the language because I’d lived in China for 5 years.

Love this place except for his behavior.

I’ve been here two times so far. Always good atmosphere and service. They have a good patio too and the portions are also pretty big. Their noodles, dumplings and ginger beef are all delicious, however their green onion pancake could have used more green onion. I’ll definitely be back to try other dishes ????????
