Just went for my birthday 2 weeks ago on Halloween..and the meal was excellent...had the whole grilled fish and it was lovely.... The fried calamari and shrimp were great. Bonus they had an apple pie for dessert that was spectacular!! The best part was the owners little daughter who hung out with us after dinner since it was a quiet night. I wanted to take her home!! Only tiny flaw the veggies that came with the fish were just a bit undercooked...other than that it was a perfect night!! I will be back! Thank you for a lovely Birthday night!
A friend and I stopped by after we were given a referral by another shop owner in the area as the restaurant we originally were planning to go to was closed. I was a little bit nervous as I’m not a seafood eater, but there was a handful of other options on the menu. I ordered the carbonara and my friend ordered the fish and chips - both enjoyed our meals. They were well cooked and flavorful!
What was even better than the meals was the atmosphere and hospitality of the owners, Ilde and Eduardo and their cute daughter (I really hope I got those right) and the knowledgeable server (I forgot her name but she was great too!). They made us feel very welcome, took the time to ask about our meals and ourselves, and they were genuinely happy and appreciative that we chose to stop by their restaurant.
I would definitely recommend!
Enjoyed an evening out with my husband and friends at this quaint little restaurant with excellent service and great food! Will definitely be back!
I've always wanted to try this restaurant because the decor looks so pretty and it reminds me of a place we used to go when I was a kid and we were visiting B.C. I'm not a big seafood eater but the menu is so varied there's a lot on offer even if seafood is not your thing. We had the cod cakes and they were delicious. I also ordered the fish and chips and it was one of the best I've ever had, fresh and buttery. Even the tartar sauce tasted really good. The staff was very friendly and fun to chat with. We just had an excellent time and we'll definitely be back to try more of the seafood on the menu now that I know how delicious it is.
