A bit pricey for the chicken but it was good and definitely an experience worth trying.
It's a good place to try out if you want to have something new.
The inside is very clean and strewn with fun decorations. I opted for a 5 DM Chicken Tray to split with my parents. The salad was nice and the sweet potato fries were good (gotta love them costco fries). We also asked for the dish to be mild and the sauce on the chicken was delicious with the rice cakes and cubed potatoes added into the mix.
I'm actually quite surprised that this dish alone managed to fill me and my parents up as it was smaller than expected, but it might be because we were allowed extra rice at no added cost and were most likely full from that.
I really want to give this place a 5/5; however, its price is a bit large for the portions you receive. Regardless, I might try their other options at another time.
Tl;dr 4/5⭐
- Good food
- Very clean with a cute interior
- Food arrived pretty fast
- Just a bit pricey for the portions recieved
A little bit on the expansive side. If you order the DM chicken then you have free refill of rice. It is necessary as the DM chicken is pretty salty (seems to be cooked in Teriyaki sauce). The fried chicken wings are decent. I feel very thirsty after the dinner and that's an indicator of over use of MSG.
Food was decent but a bit sweet for my taste and is too pricy for what you get. If the prices were lower I'd probably rate higher. Also, wish they didn't serve Costco fries but that's my gripe. Still a fun place to eat if you're never been.
We came for the novelty of how the food was presented in those long trays; and I guess we would only be coming back (if ever) for that same reason.
Taste of the food and value for money is nothing special. The fries served tasted cheap like something one can just get at your local supermarket. Good thing there are dipping sauces to change up the flavours.
The chicken order is also not that much as we would have hoped. There is a good fraction of the serving which was composed of rice cakes, cheese, or potatoes = Food Fillers.
Good points I do have to point out is how I personally loved the blend of sweet chili on the chicken as well as the playfulness of the taste of the cheese ingredient.
Place would warrant full stars if they either lower the price or increase the serving portions. Maybe then would I consider coming back for reasons other than the treat of the experience.
