There seems to be alot of confusion with this place. My husband and I enjoy the from from Amaya. Eat Indian shows up as a result when you look up Amaya. When I called, the person answering the phone confirmed, same owner different name. Fine. Great. I drove to Bayview....walked back and forth on the same block. Nothing is named Eat indian- there's an indian restaurant called Street Food Indian at the exact same location. Okay, fine the take away part of the restaurant is called Eat Indian. Its a sit down restaurant. I made it clear I was there for take away. I was informed that Eat Indian ( take away) only had a menu online. I went back and forth with the girl who may be the hostess or owner Arish, about how confusing this is, as good shows back door for Eat indian and there are two menus etc. I ordered from the menu online, waited 20 min ( I mention that only cause I wasnt expecting it, as Amaya Express is pretty quick). I was charged the prices of the menu for dining ( there is a difference and it adds up). I did contact the place and did speak to someone and they were apologetic for it and the issue is resolved.

I'll be honest, I liked the simplicity of Amaya Express for takeaway, order your food, naan was made fresh and go. Prices were reasonable. Eat Indian and Street food Indian....need to decide who they are....the bouncing between two seems to be confusing those there and myself. The experience was not what I had expected.

On another note, for dining the place is really nice. And the food is almost like Amaya ( not sure why it tasted a little different), but it is good Indian food and the prices have gone up over all. Which means it wont be frequented as often.

Wonderful fragrant and delicious food. My son ordered the Dinner for Two, and the servings were very generous. It is our new go-to place for Indian food.

Ive gotten take away from here several times though skip the dishes. Its one of the best indian places around. They are pretty quick and the curry is so good. The only complaint is I ordered the family meal which comes with pakoras, I asked for no onions (my partner doesnt like chunks of onion) and they gave us onion pakoras, where as other places will make potato pakoras . The portions are nice and it has a real authentic indian flavor, will return soon.
