The place is cluttered, I know it adds to the 'charm' but honestly, I prefer when the table has enough space for my plate and condiments. Also, if you have a child with a pushcart, this place may not be the best option for a comfortable meal.
Food-wise, it is ok. Nothing memorable. The pancakes were thick and dry, eggs were not cooked as per instructions and the staff did not care. She gave me a quick understanding about how I'd be eating my eggs wrong for nearly 35 years (she was polite and not argumentative).
Staff-wise, the owner/manager is very warm and conversational, the other staff isn't particularly service oriented. Will I be returning soon? Sure, if they're open during a zombie apocalypse.
Eat here for a better take on classic breakfast! Staff are happy, food is well priced for a small shop, and everything was delicious! And surprise cookies at the end!
A small cozy place i popped by for breakfast. Got pretty busy due to transit issues but their team was calm and made sure i had coffee and took my breakfast order promptly. Speedy service and food came as ordered. I enjoyed their bacon cooked well but them hash potatoes were seasoned to perfection! Will return when in the area!
Great fresh and home made food. Best home fries I've ever eaten. Rustic cafe with good service. Chef sounds just like Morgan Freeman - what a memorable voice. Recommended for casual dining.
Unassuming, but amazing. This little hole in the wall is fantastic, friendly and cozy. I had the eggs Benedict and I think they’re the best I’ve ever had.
Brunch can be so pretentious in Toronto, this place was the exact opposite and exactly what I look for.
