GATTO Wood Oven Pizza

Had a late lunch here the other day with a friend. Very satisfied with the wood fired pizza. Also the fresh dessert cannolis were delicious. Was not impressed with the mista salad. Boxed field greens with two cherry tomatoes for 9$, suggest you either adjust the price or upgrade the salad somehow. Great server.

A lovely pizza restaurant. The food was nice: pasta and pizza items are available in abundance. The interior is a little bit cramped and congested, but nevertheless clean well-maintained.

I went there yesterday evening and spent a few hours there with friends. It was my first visit.
The decor is very chic, elegant and tastefully done. The floors, walls, ceiling... everything is so well decorated. The service is prompt, friendly and very caring. The pizza and pasta were really good. As was the red wine (can't remember the name).
I found the ambience super duper wonderful. I'm going to be coming back as often as I can.

Went in tonight after a long day at work to grab some takeout. As soon as we sat down, our waitress told us the pizza maker was new and the wait would be longer than usual. I really appreciated her communication up front, setting expectations. We only waited about 25 minutes but during that time we saw our waitress handle a packed house single-highhandedly, making it look easy, and a pizza maker who while new, looked like he really enjoyed what he was doing. She is wonderful at her job and completely on the ball. When we got home and dug in, we realized he may be new, but he made one of the best pizzas we have ever had.
