Gonoe Sushi

I visit this restaurant quite a bit! This is my favorite place to dine. I visit this place routinely. The cooking is excellent, the crew is helpful and the price is fair. I enjoy going in this restaurant for a rich dinner.

Excellent quality sushi, friendly, welcoming staff, a little more expensive than typical sushi restaurants but the food and experience is a much higher quality. Traditional Japanese booths inside the restaurant offer a cozy dining experience. One of my favorite places to eat in Toronto. Definitely put it on your list!

Great sushi place! We’ve been here with family multiple times and it’s always consistent in our experience. Sushi is always fresh, nicely presented and rolls don’t fall apart. I was nicely surprised to see sea urchin on the menu - I had sea urchin sushi twice here and it tasted fresh and was quite flavourful. My favourite items are black dragon roll and Gonoe sushi dinner option A with ten sushi pieces. The hosts are usually nice as well and the tables are clean. I would recommend this place and will come back again myself.

One of the best sushi places in GTA, also the only place where I saw uni on the menu. Had been meaning to try uni sashimi for the longest time and boy did I like it? Hell yes I did! Will keep going here again and again. And yes, the decor is so beautiful.

It's a nice cozy place. Went for lunch on a Friday around noon. Ordered for the 3 of us a small Sushi and Sashimi boat + 1 combo E and yam and vegetable tempura. Every thing was served fresh. Made delicately with a large assortment of fishes. Really enjoyed the experience. Total bill was around $100. Will go again.
