We had such a phenomenal experience using Rodney and his team. They catered our engagement brunch and the food was exquisite. He even came to help serve and ensure everything went perfectly!!! He was so easy to work with and provided so much food for a beyond reasonable price.
We ordered several quiches which were out of this world!! He made us an assortment of delicious sandwiches, a risotto which I can't get enough of and the most delicious and beautiful desserts.
Could not recommend more - we will exclusively use rodney and his team for any future parties!!
They have a promo in the summer, every Thursday from 5pm. It's a Buy-1-Get-1 Promo!! And it's the perfect time and place to meet up with friends after work!! We work at Baycrest (1min away) and Gouter Thursdays has been a tradition for us now!!
Baycrest employees also get an employee discount!!
Great little french bakery whose pastries are fresh and delicious! The coffee is also very good, and the customer service is always pleasant.
My only criticism would be to improve on the professionalism of the operations. I went there when their debit/credit was down, and instead of posting on the door and telling customers as they entered, there was only a tiny sign right by the front cash...which I only saw once I had already ordered and was standing in front of the register. As well, that same day I ordered three pastries which were smashed into one bag. I would recommend that since some of the pastries are delicate, that they invest in boxes so pastries dont smush together and break - or if they do have boxes, to offer them to customers.
Their raspberry croissants are BOMB. End of story. Their coffee is pretty good. When you used to ask for quiche they would cut a slice from a large quiche pie. That quiche is DELICIOUS! Now they give you a personal quiche, and that one is actually kind of gross. Get the big quiche! Their other pastries are also good. Five stars for the raspberry croissant, though.
