Grand Luxe Event Boutique

We had a baptism on October 27th at the Grand Luxe and we are so glad we did. Virtually every one of our last minute changes were painlessly accommodated by the staff and coordinators - the day was perfect! We are so thankful and want to review each of the special moments:
Venue: location was perfect for us as it happens to be in the heart of Bayview Village. Lots of free parking which is unheard of in Toronto. The building was accessible for the grandparents and there was even someone who held the doors for us! The facility was neat and tidy, and the bathrooms were spotless. Decor is modern and NOT your typical "banquet hall" look.

Staff: I don't know what they do or how they do it but they're always there when you need them. Now, our event was only 93 people but everything was fast, with a smile, and professional. They were obviously paying attention which was refreshing.

Last but not least: the FOOD! We had buffet style/ food stations which were staffed by people who actually knew what the food was and knew how to handle it properly! The beef tenderloin was absolutely perfect, the couscous was extraordinary, and the kids loved the poutine. Desserts/fruit were fresh. We had a cash bar (nobody drinks in our family) but the selection was surprisingly good. Bartender was pleasant (if not bored) but obviously knew what he was doing.

Overall: when you want custom one on one service, want very high quality food and don't want to worry about all the little details, this is the place. A small thank you to the Grand Luxe folks.

This remains one of our favourite Wedding Venues in Toronto. The food is out of this world, the staff is so nice, the planners are on their game...and the bar tenders light things on fire!!! (great show!)

My Wife and I had our wedding here a month ago and we have no words. Everything was amazing. It honestly is a hole in the wall, when I would mention the venue, maybe 1 in 10 people would know what I was talking about and those 1 had nothing but great things to say about the food! And the food did not disappoint (not going to lie, there was so much going on that day, I didn't even eat my entree but everyone I've talked to since enjoyed the food). The exterior is very deceiving, even when you walk into the lobby, the low ceiling kind of throw you off but once you walk into the main hall, it's really nice. One of the best part is that you have the whole venue to yourself, this was pretty high on our list as we didn't want to share amenities with other events but also have to worried about noise through dividing walls. Staff there were great and thorough! Lina, the Event Coordinator, was so detailed and helpful during the planning process. Richard, the Venue Manager, was just on it the entire night and very accommodating to us. The Grand Luxe does have an in-house AV company that they work with but to be honest, thank god! Demo, the AV guy, made our wedding look like a production! We had so much fun meeting and working with him. I hope that I get a chance to return for another wedding in the future.

Good wedding venue in North York. Had the place to ourselves which is always nice for a wedding as you don't want to compete with another wedding being loud or anything. The food was delicious and a bit different than the usual steak and chicken wedding fare. Appetizers were really good and probably attributed to my being super full. I had the cod which was delicious and my husband had the beef short rib which was fall off the bone and really good. Dessert was a bit too sweet and we were too full to try the late night food. The atmosphere is very dark and lights which gives a nice freeing feeling. The only thing which slightly sucked is that the washrooms were downstairs. Overall a place I'd recommend.

In one word - EXCEPTIONAL! Grand Luxe was a dream venue to work with from their staff, service and FOOD! (amazing food). Wedding planning is no easy task and your venue is probably one of the most important details! Often times your venue dictates your ambiance, location, food and drink (and in this case entertainment!). The Grand Luxe offers the full package making it very easy to make arrangements and plan your big day! We worked with their in house entertainment company, Alpha Entertainment, and had Demo as our MC/DJ. The night ran very smoothly and our guests were constantly entertained! We absolutely give Grand Luxe a 5/5 for service and hospitality and recommend this venue for any event!!!
