Completely run by women, this cute little gem will transport you all the way to the streets of Paris. Every little detail - from the quirky paintings and chandeliers to the Christmas lights to the brick walls to the multi-coloured ceramic jugs to the lovely French music - really adds to the perfect atmosphere. I would say it’s mostly a romantic date spot, but honestly, I’d just as happily sit solo at the bar and drink a couple of their delicious cocktails. They mostly serve the classics, but it’s the ingredients their bartenders and chef Miriam use and understand that really elevate their drinks and dishes past what you’re used to.
The food is regularly fresh and delicious, employees hands out fantastic service. I liked how clean it is and character. Will come visit again.
On the recommendation of a local Chef, we had the pleasure of dining at Greta Solomon's for the first time last week. What a wonderful experience! the atmosphere and service are second to none! Our server was a gem and Chef Miriam personally came over to greet us. The beef was cooked to perfection and the crab risotto was outstanding! We will return!
Dined at this charming French style bistro recently and the first word that comes to mind is WOW! From beautifully presented and tasty dishes of food, one after another, to intelligently selected wines from the owner, and the ambiance - so romantic! Even a personal and friendly visit to our table from the head chef - I could not have asked for a better night!!! Thank you!
One of the cutest restaurants in Toronto, with food that will blow you away! I treated my 91 year old Nan and my little sister to dinner here, and had the best customer service! My Nan is from Ireland, and so she and Emma (one of the servers also from Ireland) bonded and she even went as far as to write down places for my Nan to check out in the city.
If you ever get the chance to go there during the winter, it's the most romantic spot possible! The glass fogs up, and they have little twinkle lights. It makes you feel like you're back in Paris.
The staff care so much. You can tell the chef pours their heart and soul into each dish. This is a Toronto Gem for sure.
