Awesome, one of the best ramen places. However it's been 5 years since the last time I came. The portions shrink a lot. Now I have to buy 2 bowls ...
I wish you didn't have to pay for all the good toppings (marinated egg). It's not bad here, average level of ramen in Toronto. Exceptional service.
Perfect for a cold winter night. They do have a fish broth option with lots of veggie toppings. The price is very reasonable as well and lots of seating considering where it's located in Toronto
The restaurant itself had a very nice vibe. An authentic “Japan” look, but the Tonkatsu ramen was just OK as compared to other places. The broth was very light & lacked flavour. The wavy noodles were firm & slightly chewy, but they kind of reminded me of instant noodles.
The pork and marinated egg (an extra $1.50) were delicious though. I feel like this place could be great if they improved on the flavour of their soup.
Place is very accessible and good service. Ramen is okay. Not too flavorful but I love the tenderness of the noodles! A bit pricey for the size and taste but its not bad at all. Worth the try.
