Hamish's Kitchen Restaurant

We always have the best fish and chips here. The fish is light and perfectly prepared. Malt vinegar on the table and great big windows for a cozy visit with friends. I am always happy to go there when having a rare visit with dear friends and want to have a great meal and clean quiet atmosphere. While the waitresses are limited in English, they have the friendliness and smiles which are often missing in the service industry of late. COME!

I went to this restaurant earlier this week to buy dinner on my dinner break from work. It was my first time at the restaurant and I was extremely pleased with the food and their service. I had the single Halibut fish and their homemade clam chowder soup. I really enjoyed both of their dishes, the soup was creamy and really fresh. The fish was not oily whatsoever, extremely fresh fish and really light after consuming. I would highly recommend this restaurant for fish and chips type of craving days. I will be coming back because their food was soo good and their service was on point.

Excellent fish & chips. The mushy peas were great as well. A fair price for a very good meal.

Great fish, quiet and spacious location. The crowd is mainly families and seniors. The clam chowder had a lot of clams! They do give you a TON of fries. May be worth ordering 2 PC's of fish with chips for two people to share. The batter is light and flaky.

Well lit, clean, comfortable chairs and tables. Friendly staff. Fish was delicious, soft, tender, crispy, juicy. The chips could have been fried a bit more. Prices are reasonable. Parking is somewhat limited but okay.
