Jawny Bakers Restaurant

I know this is lengthy review but I am so blown away I want to share my experience. I held my baby shower in the O’Connor Room at Jawny Bakers last Sunday and I can’t express how happy I am we chose to host this special day at this establishment. I live in the area and had no idea Jawny Bakers had private rooms until one day I was driving and stopped at a red light, I noticed a “Private Event Spaces” sign on the door. I called the restaurant the next day and spoke with the Manager - Olga, from our first interaction I knew she genuinely cared and invited myself and my mom in for a tour. The space is so modern, you only need minimum decorations as the room is beautiful on its own. Olga sat down with us and worked with the budget we had, she was so flexible. We ended up picking a few different appetizers based on Olga’s recommendations and decided to cover nonalcoholic beverages but it was nice knowing if guests wanted to drink alcohol there was that option. The weeks leading up to the event, I never felt stressed or worried, Olga was always available each time I called. On the day of the event my mother and god mother were able to go a bit earlier and set up some decorations. We hosted the event from 1-4pm and we had our own waitress - Brittney who was absolutely amazing. She was so attentive, professional, patient and kind. Our apps came out right on time, we ordered chicken tenders, calamari, sweet potato fries, and a couple dips and my friends and family loved the food, especially the chicken tenders. It was nice having the option of ordering a coffee, pop, corona or a bottle of champagne. We had just under 30 guests attend and although that is at the top end of their capacity for this space, it really never felt too cramped; there was enough seating and standing room for everyone to feel comfortable. There are tons of options in the city to host events of this kind, in the past I have planned friends showers in condo party rooms, but the fact that you have talented chefs cooking your food, your own private professional waitress (Brittney), an amazing contact person/organizer (Olga), ample parking space in the back, a beautiful private space and not having to worry about cleaning up or purchasing all the food and drinks on your own was priceless. I cannot thank Olga, Brittney and Jawny Bakers enough for making my baby shower so memorable and special.

We met with friends at this place for lunch. my friend recommended this spot. Well, it was very successful. the staff members were so friendly and we felt good. The meal was great. We enjoyed every moment and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Recommended.

Great place, the food is on point and the place had a nice cabin feel. The staff is great and the manger..she's awesome. I'll definitely see you all soon. Great just great.

We arrived at this restaurant for dinner. This restaurant was recommended to us by a friend. Well, it was a winning. The staff members were extremely nice and we felt fantastic. The food was just great. We loved this place very much and we shall definitely come back again. we highly recommend this place.

Rare breed of neighbourhood pub, complete with "the regulars" just like real life Cheers, yet serving excellent food, providing service like you were Hollywood star, and the ability to customize any food or drink to fit a need without getting attitude. Add to that the sheer space it offers (so you can have privacy OR be in the middle of a rowdy bunch of buds), the 21st century need to plug in computers and work, clean washrooms, tidy organized main area, and dedicated space for large groups. Patio? Awesome one, check. Parking? Vast, check. Caters to fussy vegetarians and people with food sensitivities, like my family? Didn't skip a beat. Kid friendly? They love them. Sports on the screens? Theyve got 10. Need the audio level still low enough to think? Size counts, there's enough space for everyone
