Khmer Thai is magical place that only services amazing food. Seriously, I have come here many times over the past 5 years and have never been disappointed with my food.
Whether you are looking for spicy, sweet, sour, savory or something in between, you will find it here. Portions are generous (especially Special #4 which I have not ever finished in one sitting)
The place might not look like much but the family who runs the place has a heart of gold. Khmer Thai truly is one of Toronto's great gems.
Anything you get will be 100% delicious. I've ordered here many many times sit in and take out and the food is always spot on. In a quiet location. Always clean and always friendly staff. Food is authentic with all the right spices. If you're looking for special requests they will make it exactly how you want it. Would 10/10 reccomend to bring family and friends.
We had Khmer Thai at my stag party more than 10 years ago and I have not stopped going back. The Tom Yum soup is the best I have tasted anywhere. I just had the golden beef for dinner - so tasty. The rice is perfect - just moist not squishy - the beef is tender but just chewy enough. As always the flavours. What a great place.
Khmer Thai is my favourite restaurant on St Clair. The food here reminds me of home even though I'm from Korea. If you love sweet & savoury curry with rice, you will not regret eating here. Just get number one to try. I am slowly making my way down all of the things on the menu. I recommended any of their curry dishes and soups. The very best customer service as well.
This place has the most authentic Cambodian and Thai cuisine that I’ve been able to find in the city of Toronto. After tasting the red shrimp curry in Thailand I spent months trying to find the same taste here. I was very lucky to find this place, which happens to be close to my house, where I have found this taste again. Would definitely recommend.
