Loch & Quay

I want to like this place. The location is nice and the staff seem to care about your experience. Unfortunately, the food is bland and overpriced.

I ate the fish tacos which had a vague flavour and mushy texture (think under-seasoned neutral white fish and a creamy sauce on room-temperature tacos with some forgettable garnish). I had the short ribs too. A few tasty pieces were cooked perfectly, the rest had no browning on the surface and they were all a little over-salted (if you’d like to try a more consistent version of this in a less nice location check out Sizzler Kebab on Spadina). I also tried the wings, which were fun because of the jumbo size and crispy batter, but the sauce was again one dimensional. Cocktails were above average, with prices to match.

Good staff and location, and I think lots of potential with some work on the menu.

This is a great cozy place by the Toronto waterfront area. The food is ready tasty! Try the Tuna Poke! Just fantastic!

Lovely spot along queens quay where there are not a lot of options that aren’t chain to dine at. Food menu is delicious and innovative, something for everyone. They have a great selection of beers and cocktails to tailor to many a palette. Adjacent to the water so enjoy a drink and some lovely food and then go across the way to check out the views of the lake. Staff are very lovely, always have great service. Whether you’re coming for a quick drink with friends or a nice meal on the patio, this place is spot on!!

I had the best cheese toastie here!!! Oh my word! i have had many in my time but this takes it to a whole new level. The staff were friendly and kind and it was nice to be able to sit outside in the nice sunny evening. Thank you for an amazing experience!

My first time at Loch and Quay was celebrating a friend's birthday and watching the Raptor's game. What a great night!!! Service was outstanding, delicious food, and great atmosphere. I enjoyed every bite of each carefully prepared dish. I think I've found my favourite spot. Will definitely be coming here again. Thanks to all of the staff who made it an extra special night for our group!
