Longbranch Fish & Chips

I wish the food was a bit more flavourful but still delicious. For the price, the amount of food is great and everything seems home cooked. The staff is also extremely friendly.

I have been here a few times now, and find it to be very friendly, clean, and have no complaints about the food. The fish and chips are very tasty, as is the calamari. I would recommend people to give this place a try.

Passing by the place you wouldn't think this would be once of the best fish and chips restaurant in Etobicoke. Very much a diner/mall food court vibe, but food is fantastic. Had the Halibut and the batter was light and crispy. It was just enough and didn't overpower the flaky fish as I've seen in other places. More than enough fries which were done just the way I like - simple, no coating, just cut potatoes. They have a special which was Halibut, fries, coleslaw and a pop. I don't remember the price which means to me that it wasn't crazy high. Coleslaw was great, would have liked more but that's just because it was good (creamy not vinegar based). I docked the place 1 star because the ketchup bottle and some parts of the restaurant were a little dirty - it's a small thing, but enough for me to notice. The people working there were friendly, so overall I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the place. of course some people will complain because the fish isn't done the way they like it or it's 2 bucks more than they want to pay. Give it at least a shot to see.
