Great food, drinks, value, atmosphere, patio and location! We have been to watch Raptors games, for drinks, and for brunch. Something for every occassion.
Great view, great food, great atmosphere, great music!
Great atmosphere, location & patio. They have really good specials daily!!
Best burger and fries in Toronto. Everything else is good here, too. Fantastic, comfortable neighborhood pub vibe which brings us back time and again.
Great value on their daily food specials and a quaint sidewalk patio. I have been here a few times this summer and changed my rating from two stars to four. It seems that staff are more attentive, and their kale salad is so delicious, it is actually better than fries. If you are still skeptical, they will offer you a half portion of both on the side. One of the best fried chicken sandwiches in Toronto...SO delicious and massive portions. Friendly clientelle with an amazing view of High Park. My only issue, which is not the fault of the restaurant, are dog owners who enjoy their meal while their dog barks incessantly beside them and they pretend it isn't happening. This has happened on our last two visits. The first time, another patron kindly asked them to please attempt to keep their dog occupied, or take their meal to go. Last week, our party suggested to the table beside us that perhaps their dog would be happier at home. The owner did leave his group of friends and took his dog with him. I think it's great that there are patios where you can legally have your pet beside you on the other side of the fence. But just like children, you wouldn't allow them to yell incessantly without recourse and ruin everybody else's dinner. It's common courtesy, if your dog or your child is making a scene, it's time to grab the cheque.
