Morellina's Caffé Con Spuntini

Great food, great service. It's a small café that will make you feel right at home. Food is home made with always fresh ingredients. The location is very nice and cozy. The coffee is also very good. Lina and Sandra are fantastic hosts, cooks, and owners.

Had a weekend brunch special which was 5oz NY steak, 2 eggs, truffle cauliflower with cheese and some toasts. The food was tasty however I wish the steak wasn't served all cut not only because everyone has their preference for cutting their meat but also it was rather cold than warm when it just came out. There should definitely be techniques to warm up a medium rare steak to its core. The cauliflower side was great I really enjoyed it with the bread. I couldn't find out the price until I was paying which was kind of weird and it was $23 before tax, which I had to do the math myself later. I didn't bother asking cause I was gonna eat and pay anyway. 23 felt kind of pricey for the steak quality but besides that the service was pretty friendly and I'd like to go back to check out other items.

Amazing hidden gem. Great food. We got a meat and cheese tasting. It was incredible and the owner was very generous with the portions. Every aspect of the dish was meticulous, purposeful, and beautiful. I can’t wait to come back and try the brunch!

From the delicious espresso to the incredible women that run it this place is the best cafe in the neighborhood easily. If you're looking for a light but hearty, warm, refreshing lunch or want to even host a private event in the space I highly recommend it. They are personable, funny, compassionate and caring women that clearly work very hard because they are passionate about food and take care of their customers like they are family.
