Moxie's Grill & Bar

It’s Sunday evening, there’s a Raptors game on and St. Louis is packed. We find our way here and there’s lots of seating in the lounge where multiple TVs are playing the Raptors and Leafs games. Service was good. The waitress checked in a few times to make sure everything was okay and that we didn’t need anything else. It did take a little while to get the bill but another server noticed and offered to get it for us. The only odd thing is that if you enter the restaurant from the exterior entrance (from the parking lot) you have to walk through the restaurant to the entrance from the mall to be seated.

We ordered appetizers to share and they’re brought out fairly quickly. The fresh smashed guacamole is really fresh. They bring it to the table in a mortar with a pestle and the server starts you off with the mashing then avocado and then leaves the rest up to you. FYI there’s about 10 wings in the chicken wings appetizer. They were fried just right and dressed in honey garlic sauce.

Everytime I come here, great service and great food. Also, the deserts have no traces of peanuts and do not include peanuts, and for me it makes it more worth it because I have allergies. A great place!

This location of the Moxie's chain is well-situated within Fairview Mall, and has a broad menu with options for all tastes and preferences. Service here is great and the staff are happy to suggest meal pairings and combos, along with daily and seasonal specials. Good spot for group and team meals as well - definitely worth stopping by if you're in the area!

This spot is worth trying. They serve big portions for affordable prices. Consistently well kept and with fantastic atmosphere. I highly recommend this place.

No problem with service and atmosphere... I am impressed with how well this restaurant/bar/lounge operates. I believe that the management is superior compared to similar venues. I just don't find the menu too exciting for what they charge. The drink specials are reasonable but the appetizers are overpriced and they are trying to get the 'downtown image' while in the suburbs it makes more sense to be going for regular business from locals and commuters that want to unwind or go out for 'Date Night' without going broke....
