This is such an excellent restaurant. Well laid out inside. Many tables for a lot of customers. There is a bar there as well. We sat in the solarium. Tables are size for 2 people. The food was delicious, hot. The staff are attentive and courteous and helpful. Prices are a little steep.

This place is always hands down one of the best places for fish and chips! Finally sat down for dinner and it’s even better than take out! The fish is fresh and the batter is so light and crispy. Don’t forget the onion rings!

I have been here a few times and love it every time. Just left and it was amazing. Please note the wait times are high, but well worth it. Went to the bar instead of waiting.... just wanted the haddock and chips. Got chow are to start, regret not getting key lime pie. As it’s my favourite!! Never left this place unsatisfied

Yummy, yum, yum. The Halibut in particular is delish. Ashamed to say I can pack two down at once if I'm hungry enough. Batter is golden brown and perfect. Not mushy. Fish is fresh, not chewy. Customers are cheerful. Only caveat. Had to compete with flies when ate on patio. Didn't realize one window was wide open. Ruined meal for my companion. Staff were disinterested. Will always eat indoors from now on. Better yet, will take out. Should add that the Caesar salad is absolutely fabulous and a nice alternative to fries. There is no mystery why this is a neighbourhood institution.!

Wow, old school amazing! The Olde Yorke Fish & Chips is a throwback in the very best sense of the word. The dining room is surrounded by dark wood, carpeting, a traditional island bar, and old school red vinyl booths. The Olde Yorke stays true to run-of-the-mill British pub. Unlike other establishments, the main attraction here is not nachos or flat screen televisions. It’s is the amazing fish. This place is not you wearing your grandpa's vintage clothing. It's your grandpa, wearing... his own clothes. But classics are classics for a reason, and for the past 14 years at The Olde Yorke that's meant traditional British fish and chips . Long lines are a staple at this family owned restaurant for both the dining room and separate take-out counter, often spilling out onto the sidewalk at lunch and dinner rushes. Have a late lunch this afternoon and the family vibe at the Olde Yorke seems to have with its longtime neighbours. Traditional fish and chips in a cozy setting. I like places that know what they're good at, and stick to that. Nice selection of stouts to make you feel like you're back in the old country.
