Phat Kaphrao

We were there from the very first (almost as soon as they opened their doors) and now we can't stay away! It has become a weekly take-out lunch spot for us - everything we've had has been absolutely delicious, fresh and made with a friendly smile. AND the owner is totally accommodating when it comes to making sure a dish is gluten free. If you want to experience one of the world's best desserts, try the coconut sticky rice with mango - WOW!!!

From someone who LOVES Thai food and has tried almost everything in the GTA, this place ranks among the best!! The staff is incredible and food is delicious! If I could have 10 stars I would!!!

One of my few regrets in life is not finding the owner of this place 2 years ago when I moved to the neighborhood and telling him to open up shop. Unfortunately for me, this fine establishment just opened up as I am leaving the city.

Soon as it opened, I looked for every opportunity to get take out. Once it finally came, I got a Pad Thai and fell in love with this place. My old Thai place on Avenue was very inconsistent and the handful of meals I've had at Phat Kaphro were outstanding every time.

The ingredients taste fresh and not over cooked and there is enough sauce to go around but it's not drowning the meal. Just watch the spice level of you're new to Thai food. I opted for the 'Medium Spice' and it was the perfect amount of heat that didn't burn well after the meal.

If I continued to live down the road, this place would have made a lot of money off me and if you're still reading this I highly recommend checking this place out. I wasn't disappointed at all and I doubt you will be too.

The staff (owners I assume) were very friendly and welcoming. We ordered chicken wings, pad thai, and fried rice. The flavours were amazing! I definitely enjoyed the combination of heat and sweetness in their dishes. Will be back to try other items in their menu. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I love this place. The owners are so kind and always have smiles on their faces. You can tell they're doing what they love and it also shows in the food they serve you. I ordered the Thai iced tea and pad Thai. Loved the big cup the iced tea came in, it was so refreshing on a hot day.

The best part about my visit was how accommodating the owner was. I ordered my pad Thai without onions and he made it for me! Typically most places will just tell me too bad no changes but they did it happily for me. This was on opening day too! Loved the pad Thai, it was perfect with a squeeze of lime and just the right amount of spice. It also came LOADED with veggies and tofu. The portions are definitely generous and fairly priced.

This place is a must visit not only for the food but also because of the friendly owners. I'll be back soon to try all their appetizers!
